A’ina Alchemy arts is located in the Pahoa region of the Big Island of Hawaii, one of the most diverse places on the planet. Across from the residence, you will find a recent lava flow and new vegetation growing from the newest land on earth. This is a powerful place to consider our relationship to changing climates, complex ecologies and interspecies relationship. We welcome artists, writers, thinkers, and community innovators committed to social and environmental justice. Our residency takes place on the sovereign land of the Hawaiian people, and we strive to be good neighbours and visitors who contribute positively to our community.
